The City of Manchester Health Department and the Manchester Emergency Operations Center has recommended that all residents should be tested for COVID-19. The recommendation was made Monday afternoon. Officials asked that everyone should wear a cloth mask when outside of the home or are in public. Though masks are not a substitute for social distancing and other prevention measures. Included in the recommendation, the city health department urged everyone to undergo a COVID-19 test – especially those living within elevated risk neighborhoods as defined by the City Health Dashboard. This recommendation came as neighborhood businesses and communities began to reopen under the governor’s Safer-at-Home Advisory.
